How ordering works

Ordering for an NDIS or Home Care client? There is no checkout: request a quote, approve it, and we invoice whoever pays.

Three steps

  1. Request a quote

Add the equipment to your cart, choose Request a quote and pick the funding type.

  2. Approve it

Send the quote to whoever approves the funding. It is valid for 60 days. Reply to our email to approve it.

  3. We invoice whoever pays

The plan manager, the NDIS, the home care provider or the participant. Nothing to pay on the website.

After that we order the equipment and deliver it. The confirmation screen after your request shows each step: Requested, Quote sent, Approved, Invoiced, Delivered.

What to have ready

  • The client’s full name and date of birth
  • NDIS number (NDIS clients)
  • Plan manager, home care provider or case manager email, if someone else pays
  • The delivery address, and access details for beds and large equipment
  • The OT or physio report, if there is one

Put these in the quote request form, not in an email, so they go straight onto the quote.

Questions

Do I pay anything on the website?

Not for a funded client. For NDIS, Home Care Package, DVA and insurer orders you only request the quote: we invoice whoever pays once it is approved. Private customers can pay online.

How long is a quote valid?

60 days. If it runs out before the funding is approved, let us know and we will check the prices and send it again.

Who do you invoice for a plan-managed client?

The plan manager named on the quote request. Add their email on the form so the invoice goes straight to them.

Do you claim agency-managed NDIS funding?

Yes. We are a registered NDIS provider and claim it from the NDIS directly once the quote is approved. Include the participant’s NDIS number and date of birth on the request.

How does a self-managed participant pay?

We email the invoice to the participant (or their nominee). They pay it by bank transfer and claim it back from the NDIS.

Who approves a Home Care Package quote?

The home care provider, usually through the case manager. Add the provider and case manager on the form and we will invoice the provider.

Do I need an OT report?

That is up to the OT. Low-cost, low-risk items can usually be bought straight from the client’s budget. Higher-cost or more complex equipment usually needs an OT assessment and funding approval first. If you have a report, send it with the request and we will quote to it.

How quickly will I get the quote?

Most quotes are ready to download as soon as you request them, and we email a copy. Beds and equipment that needs delivery and installation are quoted within one business day.

Can my client try the equipment first?

Ask us when you request the quote. Some equipment can be seen at our Prestons showroom by appointment, and we will let you know what is possible for your client.

Is delivery included?

Delivery is priced on the quote for the client’s address. For beds and large equipment, installation is listed as its own line so the funder can see it.

Where do I put the client’s details?

In the quote request form, under “Who is the equipment for?”. They are only used to prepare the quote and the invoice.
